Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University (MDSU) Ajmer does not require passing the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) in order to admit students for BCA programs. The MDSU admissions process for courses such as BCA is determined by the results of the most recent qualifying exams; no additional entrance exams are required to be taken. Candidates who wish to pursue the BCA programme at MDSU must normally meet the prerequisite of passing the 10+2 exam from an accredited board.

Candidates will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 1,200 (plus transaction charges and taxes as applicable) to complete online registration for PhD and BSc B.Ed course. If a candidate wishes to apply for more than one department in case of PhD, the non-refundable fee has to be submitted accordingly. MDSU admission process begin with an online application process. Candidates must visit the official website to apply for their desired UG/ PG courses. Admissions to most of the courses is done based on merit scores of previous qualifying exams. Except for B.Ed and M.Ed courses. To get admission to these couses, candidates have to qualify for PTET and MTET, respectively. Based on the performance of candidates in all selection rounds, the university releases merit list in various rouds.
