The Boys Hostel of IIIT Allahabad Campus consists of BH1, BH2, BH3, BH4, and BH5, situated across the road from the main campus. It provides a vibrant atmosphere for students and research scholars on the campus, with a residential capacity of about 1850 students. The fully centralised, air-conditioned mess in each of the hostels caters to comfort. Recreational facilities include provision for sports such as volleyball, badminton, table tennis, etc., and are complimented with a gymnasium and common TV rooms. IIIT Allahabad also provides hostel facilities in a homely environment to about 500 girls' students of the institute. It consists of three hostels, GH1, GH2, and GH3, each with separate air-conditioned mess and gym facilities and 24-hour guidance from caretakers. Further, the students can access the facilities of the basketball court and badminton court in front of Girls Hostel 1. Wardens visit the hostel regularly to monitor and ensure the proper functioning of the hostels and the comfort of the students.

IIIT Allahabad has instituted the Centre for Short-Term Certification Programmes (CSTCP) with the primary aim of conducting online courses through suitable online platforms provided by various companies. IIIT Allahabad offers a PG Certificate programme in Machine Learning and Big Data Analytics through CSTCP. The objective of this course is to introduce participants to the intricacies of data Science and the techniques of machine learning.
