Candidates who has twelve years of school education is eligible for United University Allahabad BA course. Admission to BA (Hons) English is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam. However, admission to BA (Hons) Journalism is based on the relevant entrance exam or merit obtained in the last qualifying exam. Before applying candidates must make sure to have a valid BA (Hons) eligibility criteria, which are as follows:Eligibility Criteria: Class 12 with 45% aggregate from any stream (40% aggregate in case of candidates belonging to the SC & ST category).

Yes, BA is available in United University Allahabad. The three year course is offered in an honor degree in two specialisations specialisations, i.e., English and Journalism. The BA (Hons) curriculum includes five compulsory subjects along with a few elective subjects in each semesters. Admission to the BA (Hons) course is merit and entrance-based. United University accepts state-level entrance exams and in-house entrance exams for admission to the BA (Hons) in Journalism and Mass Communication. Further, admission to BA(Hons) English is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam.
