Deciding which IIIT is better, IIIT Lucknow or IIIT Allahabad, depends on what factors you prioritize. IIIT Allahabad, Established in 1999, is a well-established institute with a longer track record. It's generally considered a Tier-1 institute, which might hold more weightage in some circles. However,  While the average placement might be higher, the highest package offered at IIIT Allahabad might be lower than at IIIT Lucknow IIIT Lucknow, on the other hand, being a newer institute established in 2015, might have more modern infrastructure facilities. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU) and Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU) are popular universities that provide various courses in Open & Distance Learning (ODL) Mode. All three universities are recognised by UGC. Talking about the Bachelor of Arts (BA) courses, IGNOU and UPRTOU provide these courses in multiple specialisations. On the other hand, VMOU (Kota) provides a BA (Pass) course. The VMOU fees for the BA (Pass) course is INR  7,700 for three years. At UPRTOU, BA fee for three years ranges between INR 1,8000 & INR 32,000 across various specialisations. The range of IGNOU fees for BA courses is INR 12,000 - 31,800. The exact amount of fee depends on the specialisation chosen by the candidate. UPRTOU fees can be paid through various online payment modes. The university accepts fee payment via online payment methods like Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/E-Wallets. Candidates must take a printout of the fee payment receipt for future reference. The course fees for BA at the university can be paid via online and offline modes. It has to be paid once the candidate has been selected for admission.
