The 2023 or 2024 placement data is unavailable for Engineering courses. Earlier, out of 363 BTech students 85 were placed successfully during 2022 placements. Further, the median package stood at INR 3.75 LPA. Over the past three years (2020 to 2022), the number of BTech students placed has been fluctuating. On the other hand, the median package has improved from 2020 to 2022. The official placement report or brochure is yet to be released. However, the NIRF report 2024 is out, which incorporates the 2023 statistics. Out of 50 BPharma graduates 1 was placed in the 2023 drive. Further, 2 out of 6 MPharma students were placed. The University has not released the placement rate for recent drives. However, the total strength and the number of students placed in Engineering and Pharmacy UG and PG courses are released in the NIRF report 2023. As per the report, 85 BTech and 4 M.Tech students were placed in 2022. Further, 8 BPharma and 2 MPharma students were placed. According to unofficial sources, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences alumni are working in numerous sectors such as Operations, HR, Marketing, Media and Communication, etc. However, the Education sector comprised the largest share of alumni with a 24% share. The eligibility criteria for admission to the B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering programme at SHUATS are available. Candidates must have passed 12th grade with a minimum of 50% marks, and the mandatory subjects are Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics/ Mathematics and Biology. Admission to the programme is based on online/offline counseling conducted basis SOET/merit in Class 12. The prospectus for 2023 also states that candidates appearing in the bachelor's degree examination in 2023 are eligible to apply provisionally for admission and appear in the SHUATS Online.

Yes, the institute can call students with a CGPI greater than 8.0 from IITs/IIITs/IISERs Or other such institutions of National importance can be called directly for interactive/interview sessions. Hence, these students have a chance of getting admission directly without any entrance examination.

The total tuition fee for PhD programmes sums up to INR 1.8 lakh. The total fee at the time of admission will be higher as other fee components will also be added. No, admission to the MTech programmes is only based on the GATE score and the candidate's performance during CCMT counselling. Hence, it is necessary that the student take the entrance test, secure a good score, and participate in the counselling round. There is no other provision for admission at IITA.
