Candidates taking admission to an MTech programme shall have a valid BE/BTech degree in a relevant discipline with at least 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ST) from a recognised university. The candidates wanting to pursue M.Tech from IIITA need to take the GATE exam. Candidates with a valid GATE score are called for the CCMT Counselling rounds based on cutoff marks. Further, based on performance in the counselling round, seat allotment is carried out.

The tuition fee is INR 3.50 lakh. However, for the sponsored students, the fee sums up to INR 3.94 lakh. Further, this is just the tuition fee, hence, the final fee at the time of admission will vary as it will include the hostel fee and one-time payable components. Candidates with at least 80 percentile can have a good chance of getting selected for an MBA at IIITA. However, the cutoff marks change every year and hence it can vary. The students who have appeared for other management exams such as XAT/CMAT/MAT as well can submit their best scores at the time of form filling.

 IIIT Allahabad offers five courses, including BTech, MTech, MBA, Certificate and PhD programmes. The duration of the courses is from six months to five years. IIT Dhanbad offers BTech admisison based on JEE Advanced scores, whereas MNNIT Allahabad admission is based on candidates' performance in the JEE Main scores. However, if you are qualified for the exams and getting both IIT Dhanbad and NIT Allahabad for CSE admisison, you must look for all the important aspects such as CSE cutoff, placement, NIRF ranking and course fees, etc. JoSAA Round 1 cutoff is out for admission to the BTech courses and CSE turned out as the most competitive course.
