Admission to Institute of Rural Management Anand, is based on common entrance exams such as CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT. Students must have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Shortlisted candidates are then eligible to appear for a IRMA Written Ability Test followed by a personal interview.

As per the latest reports, the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) has announced its placements drive for the 43rd batch (2022-24) of its flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Rural Management) - the PGDM (RM). The the highest salary package offered to PGDM (RM) students in 2024 stood at INR 31.16 LPA. Total offers made in 2024 stood at 325 which was comparitively higher than the previous year 2023.
