The Chirala Engineering College was established in the academic year 2001 by GSR & TSR Educational Society, which makes Chirala Engineering College a private college.The college is privately owned. It is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada.The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).It is the 6th best engineering college in the state and 49 in the country as per a CSR Magazine survey.

Positives from the reviews:-The communication of the staff towards students is friendly and they create a happy atmosphere.The admission process is skilled and improving.The faculty is well-qualified and their teaching method is good.The college has a supportive administration.There are good facilities for students in terms of studies and sports.Negatives from the reviews :-The syllabus is heavy.Very less placements, only BPO or stratup companies comes for campus.Based on the above points from the college students, you can decide if the college suits you or not.

If the candidate fulfils the eligibility criteria then he needs to attend the counselling conducted by The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admission in several colleges of Andhra Pradesh.  And in that counselling, the candidate should apply for admission to Swarnandhra College Of Engineering and Technology and they need to verify their documents physically in the college once they get the allotment letter.
