NLU Visakhapatnam BA LLB (Hons) admission is based on merit in CLAT exam. The course aspirants who have passed Class 12 with a 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST) can apply. Aspirants should visit the CLAT official website to apply for admission. After the entrance exam, the cutoff is announced. Candidates who meet the DSNLU CLAT cutoff mark can take part in CLAT counselling. After seat allotment, aspirants can report at DSNLU and pay admission fee for seat confirmation.

Yes, NLU Visakhapatnam offers five-year BA LLB (Hons) integrated programme. Candidates who have passed Class 12 with 45% aggregate are eligible to apply. The SC/ST candidates get 5% relaxation. Additionally, the aspirants must have a valid score of CLAT as well. Based on DSNLU CLAT cutoff, the applications are shortlisted. Candidates who meet the cutoff get a seat through CLAT counselling. The tuition fee for BA LLB (H) at DSNLU is INR 5.2 lakh. This fee is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

The fee structure of DSNLU comprises of components that are either one-time payable, or charged annually/semesterly. Candidates are required to pay the fee amount for admission confirmation. The tuition fee for DSNLU BA LLB (H) is INR 5.2 lakh. In addition, the one-time fee is INR 8,000 and the hostel fee is INR 10,000. Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University offers courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels in the Law stream. The university offers BA LLB (Hons) at the UG level and LLM at the PG level. DSNLU offers PhD in full-time and part-time for three-years. The maximum duration to complete full-time PhD is four-years. Candidates applying for part-time need to complete the course maximum by six-years. In case, if the research is not completed within the maximum period of course for reason, the Research Scholar may be permitted for re-registration for another four years or six years as the case may be for extension of time for on the recommendations of the DRC with Full-time INR 30,000 for part-time and Executive INR 50,000.

Yes, DSNLU conducts an entrance-exam to shortlist candidates for PhD programme. The test includes objective and descriptive questions to analyse the research and legal aptitude of the aspirants. The entrance-exam has Legal Research Methodology, Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, IPC, Law of Torts, Contracts Laws, Family Law and Transfer of Property and labor Laws.

Candidates need to pass a master’s degree in Law /LLM/ Social Sciences like MA, MCom, MBA or natural sciences like MSc, M.Tech for interdisciplinary research (from any recognised university or its equivalent with at least 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST/ BC/ Specially Abled and other categories) to apply for DSNLU PhD programme.
