Candidates willing to take admission in MA in Education at Assam University should have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in B.Ed. Examination or with at least 40% marks in honours course or 45% marks in UG degree in Arts, Science or Commerce are eligible for admission.Assam University admission in MA in Education seats are filled up based on merit in the CUET-2023 to be conducted by NTA. However, up to a maximum of 50% of the seat shall be reserved for candidates who graduated from Assam University-affiliated colleges with lateral migration based on merit. Assam University accepts admission for its BSc-B.Ed course mainly through CUET-UG. Candidates who are interested in taking admission to BSc-B.Ed integrated course must take the examination described above. BSc-B.The Ed integrated course of Assam University is combination of both BSc and B.Ed, providing a more comprehensive and enhanced knowledge for students who further want to shift their career towards teaching.Applicants must have a valid scorecard/ rank in CUET-UG, which must be above the closing range mentioned in the merit list released by Assam University.
