Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the general category under All India, the opening rank was 36694 and the closing rank was 81716. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even the domicile of the home state. In All India, the opening and closing rank for female candidates was 39620 and 103582. Admission to BTech in Computer Science and Engineering at Assam University, Silchar is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying for while checking for cut-offs.

For 2022, cut off was 81716 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in Assam University, Silchar. For female candidates in general category under All India quota 103582 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at Assam University, Silchar has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 420408. In 2022, it decreased to 229613. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 444475 to 522066 for OBC, 506441 to 417590 for SC, 528033 to 461204 for ST, 311000 to 541050 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

Assam University, Silchar will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:The JEE Main score of the candidateThe category of the candidateThe number of seats available in the courseCandidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

For last year, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering was 229613 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in Assam University, Silchar.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering at Assam University, Silchar other than General category are - 522066 for OBC, 417590 for SC, 461204 for ST, 541050 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

Admission to B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering in Assam University, Silchar is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
