Deciding between Assam University, Silchar (AUS) and International School of Management Excellence (ISME) for B.Tech hinges on personal priorities. AUS, a central university, offers diverse programs at a lower cost, emphasizing research. However, it ranks lower nationally and might have comparatively lower placements. ISME, known for industry-focused education, features experienced faculty and excellent placements but comes with higher fees. AUS suits those prioritizing affordability and research, while ISME is suitable for those valuing industry exposure and mentorship, even with a higher financial commitment.

See, If you want to take admission in B.Tech courses, you have to appear for JEE Mains examination, as this university accepts only JEE Mains score with minimum 45% in class 12th. If you scored more than 80 percentile, you can easily get seat, as the cut-off is very low here.

Assam University and IIIT Manipur are both good institutions. According to the 2023 placement data, the highest package offered to BTech students at Assam University is INR 7 LPA (ECE) whereas the highest package offered to BTech students at IIIT Manipur is INR 12.50 LPA. Hence, IIIT Manipur is better in terms of placements. There are various things good about Assam University as well. So which is better depends on what the person is actually looking for in a college or university.

By thorough analysis, I would say yes ADTU is more expensive. Assam university being GFTI government funded tech institute remains less costly. Also Assam University would be preffered more and ROI is high . There is always a decent gap  between fee structure of both the colleges and Assam University remains cheaper in cost.

According to Shiksha, Comparing everything right from placements, infrastructure and fees and other stuff. The analysis is as follows:-There are double seats in Assam Uni as compared to ADTU (60).Assam Uni follows JEE Mains whereas TJEE is supposedly easier for ADTU entrance. The fees is lower at Assam University and the ROI is high because of better placements and other activties thoughout the college days.
