Gauhati University MBA admission is not based on the applicant's merit in graduation. Candidates with a valid score in MAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT/other national-level exam can get admission at the university for an MBA. However, the university has specified a minimum eligibility requirement for MBA admission. Candidates with an aggregate score of at least 50% (45% for reserved categories) in bachelor's degree in any discipline are eligible to apply for the programme. Hence, a candidate scoring less than 60% in graduation can get admission to Guwahati University for MBA, subject to their performance in the entrance exam.
