You should have completed the Std. XII (10+2) or equivalent examination in any stream with English as the medium of instruction to participate in this admission process. If you have appeared for the board exams in the current year and are awaiting results you can still apply.The procedure to get admission to IHM Bengaluru is that you have to qualify for your 12 class with English as your compulsory subject then you have to attend the national council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE). It is purely a computer-based test (CBT).

Yes, the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) in Aurangabad provides scholarships to boost students in their studies.  You can't get direct admission to a degree programme at the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) Aurangabad, including B.A., without taking the NCHMCT JEE exam . However, you can apply directly for a Certificate or Diploma course.  The three-year BA (Hons) programme is admitted to based on a profiling test, personal interview, and group discussion rounds. The selection process includes an electronic application, a psychometric evaluation questionnaire, and a personal interview with faculty members. The questionnaire identifies 25 personality factors with pointers for improvement.
