Yes, it is difficult to get admission at Notre Dame because of its moderatly high acceptance rate . The University of Notre Dame acceptance rate is around 12%,  which means admission are competitive for international students. Applicants must havve good academic profile and meet the Notre Dame entry requirements to get admission.

There is not a maximum or minimum amount of need-based financial aid scholarships. International students are eligible for merit based University of Notre Dame scholarships. Students are considered for the scholarships based upon a review of academic qualifications, financial need, and availability of student aid resources.
