Once Indian students submit the application to Monash University, an assessment of the application takes usually 1 to 3 weeks. If successful, students are going to receive a conditional or full offer via email. However, if the university is not able to make the offer immediately, then students may receive a conditional offer. Monash University needs final results, the results of an English exam, or transcripts to send a full offer to students.

According to some unofficial sources, Monash University has an acceptance rate of 40%. The acceptance rate justifies that the university is moderately selective when it comes to admissions.
