MJPRU admissions are either entrance or merit-based. Candidates have to qualify for the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for any of the UG & PG courses. For PG courses, MJPRU conducts the MJPRU entrance exam. Apart from that for courses such as BPharm, BTech, MBA, MCA, etc., the university accepts valid scores of JEE Main, CUET UG & CUET PG entrance exams. Further, for other UG courses, admissions are entirely based on the merit obtained in the previous qualifying exam.

MJPRU LLB fee for three-years of course duration ranges between INR 36,000 - INR 1.44 lakh. This is a total tuition fee amount, which is based on all the MJPRU affiliated colleges offering LLB course. The selected candidates will also have to pay for a Refundable Caution Deposit along with other fee components. MJPRU offers a four-year BPharm course through its Faculty of Engineering and Technology. The course is taught by the Department of Pharmacy at the university. The total seat intake for BPharm course at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University is 60. Further, the same department also offers admission to a three-year BPharm Lateral Entry course. The selection for BPharm at MJPRU is entirely based on a national-level entrance exam. MJPRU accepts a valid score of CUET UG for admission to BPharm courses. Candidates who passed Class 12 with minimum 45% aggregate are eligible to apply for MJPRU BPharm admissions on the official website of the university. Next, they need to qualify for CUET UG entrance exam and submit the scores on the MJPRU's admission portal. Candidates will be evaluated based on their past academic records and entrance exam scores. Later on, the university will conduct a counselling process for the final seat allotment.

For the selection of eligible candidates, the university accepts a valid score of CUET UG entrance exam, which is conudcted by NTA every year. For admission to the four-year BPharm course at MJPRU, there is a set minimum eligibility criteria as per the university's guidelines that every aspirant need to fulfil before applying to this course. Candidates willing for admission to BPharm at MJPRU must pass Class 12 with minimum of 45% aggregate in the Science stream from a recognised board. They must have taken either Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) as the combination of subjects in Class 12. The total tuition fee for a four-year MJPRU BPharm course is INR 3.01 lakh. However, the university also offers BPharm Lateral Entry course for a duration of three-years, the MJPRU BPharm fee for Lateral Entry course is INR 1.48 lakh.
