Yes, any student who meets the eligibility criteria can apply for the scholarships provided by Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhagalpur. Some of the scholarships provided by the college are Central Sector Scholarship for College and University Students (MHRD, Govt. of India), National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST students (Ministry of Tribal Affairs), and others.

As admission to IIIT Bhagalpur BTech progrmme is entirely based on JEE Main exam, therefore, candidates are to submit documents that is relevant for the JEE Main exam. For admission to IIIT Bhagalpur BTech programme candidates have to be eligible. The BTech eligibility criteria include passing Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate in PCM*. Candidates must use JEE Main as the application platform. The application process for JEE Main 2025 comprises three stages, which include registration, form filling & document uploading, and payment of the application fee. Yes, JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to IIIT Bhagalpur BTech programme are out now but the dates are tentative. It is expected that JEE Main 2024 notification will be released in the first week of December. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions in January and April. The exact date of the exam for both sessions will be announced in the notification. At the undergraduate level, IIIT Bhagalpur offers BTech and other courses to students. The eligibility criteria for admission to the undergraduate course is pass Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Main and others. The eligibility criteria for admission to the postgraduate course is graduation with a minimum of 60% aggregate and the accepted entrance exams are GATE and CCMT. For passing the GATE exam, candidates must prepare according to the GATE exam pattern and follow the GATE preparation guidelines.

IIIT Bhagalpur has been ranked 28th by NIRF among the top IIITs of India. Also IIIT Bhagalpur has a good placement record. According to media reports, the highest package offered during IIIT Bhagalpur placements 2024 stood at INR 89 LPA. Earlier, the highest package and average package offered during IIIT Bhagalpur placements 2023 stood at INR 46 LPA and INR 15.61 LPA, respectively. The total fee for IIIT Bhagalpur BTech programme is INR 8.7 lakh. Total fee is calculated based on annual/ semester fee available for the academic year, hence is indicative. Students can apply to State/Central government Scholarships. Also the fee includes JEE Main application fee for BTech programme. The application fee are INR 1,000 for boys and for girls, it is INR 800.

The selection to IIIT Bhagalpur BTech programme is based on the candidate’s JEE Main exam score followed by the centralised counselling process regulated by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) through which they are allotted a seat. The seat allotment also depends on the college cutoff and a candidate’s preference for that course and college. JoSAA registrations usually begin from the third week of June in online mode. However, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) manages the counselling process for the remaining vacant seats.
