In order to apply for BTech course at Institute of Technical Education and Research the candidate need to complete Class12 with 50% aggregate. The admission to BTech is done on the basis of JEE Main, SAAT score. BTech Lateral Entry in Engineering are also offered for candidates who have passed Chemistry / Computer Science / Information Technology /Biotechnology / Biology / Informatics / Statistics. The eligibility criteria for the course is Class 12 with 50% aggregate.

Candidates willing to be admitted to ITER need to apply & appear for SAAT or equivalent qualifying exams, as per the course requirement. A separate merit list for all qualified candidates will be prepared based on SAAT. A separate merit list for all qualifying candidates shall be prepared based on SAAT scores. In addition, separate merit lists will also be drawn for candidates qualifying under each of the reservation categories. Each qualified candidate shall be given a rank card.
