Candidates with a valid BE/BTech degree can apply for Mtech. Admission to the course is based on marks secured in Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE). Eligible students can apply by registering and submitting the application online (utkaluniversity.ac.in). The eligibility criteria is the minimum requirement that a candidate must meet to become eligible to take admission. Candidates with a Master’s degree in Computer Science/IT/Computer Application/Statistics/Mathematics/Physics/ Electronic Sciences and any other qualification considered equivalent can apply. The seat intake for MCA in Utkal is 40. Hence, only this many students are admitted depending upon the category of the students, the applicant’s entrance test score, the cutoff and seat availability. In case the seats are increased in this course, the same will be updated on this page.

You must first go through the eligibility criteria. If you fulfil the conditions, then fill out the online application (utkaluniversity.ac.in). Candidates who submit applications successfully are issued admit cards for the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) conducted by the university. After the entrance test, the Utkal University cutoff is announced. Candidates with a score equal to higher than the cutoff are allotted a seat.

 Yes, it is good to pursue an MBA in Bhubaneswar. Utkal University MBA placements percentage in 2021 was recorded to be 100%. As per the university NIRF report 2023, the median package offered to PG (two-year) students stood at INR 4 LPA. This is made possible with the placement assistance provided by the university to its students. The assistance is provided by imparting training and arranging campus placements.

The total seat intake for the MBA-sponsored courses is 330 as per the details collated from unofficial sources. The seat allotment process is carried out as per the seat intake, cutoff marks, reservation policy, and the candidate's score on the test. Additionally, some of the seats are locked for the reserved category students. The reservation policy is followed as prescribed by the Government of Odisha. Further, in case of the non-availability of candidates in any of the reserved categories, seats will be filled up from the candidates on the general merit list.
