A Master’s Degree Programme is a full-time study of two years which includes both coursework and research for a thesis. The maximum permissible period for completion of a Master’s degree is five consecutive academic years for direct students and six consecutive years for in-service students.

The Kashmiri Migrants/ Kashmiri Pandit (Non-Migrants) / Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) living in Kashmir Valley are not required to appear in the OUAT PG Entrance Examination - 2024. Interested candidates must apply online, without which admission is not allowed. The selection of these candidates will be made from a separate merit list prepared based on the highest OGPA/percentage of marks in Under Graduate programme. Without OGPA/marks of qualifying examinations, the application will be invalid. Five per cent (5%) seats are reserved for Children of Green Card Holders. The candidates applying under the Green Card category have to produce the original Green Card of their parents issued by the Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha at the time of counselling and admission, failing which his/her admission to the GCH category seat will be denied.Also, the name, and date of birth of the candidate along with the parent’s name should match with those mentioned in the Class 10 pass certificate. A Candidate producing a Green Card that is forged/tampered with in any manner will be debarred from admission under the GCH cate
