As per unofficial sources, the total tuition fee of the five-year BArch course offered at NIT Calicut is INR 6.25 lakh. The hostel charges are up to INR 3.41 Lacs and a one-time fee payment of INR 31,500 is also required for admission. NIT Calicut considers the scores of JEE Main (Paper-II) for admission to the BArch course. No other entrance exam is accepted. Candidates shortlisted based on JEE paper-II score are further required to participate in CSAB counselling for the seat allotment process.

BE/BTech with a minimum of 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA in a relevant branch of Engineering is the basic eligibility for M.Tech at NIT Calicut.
