MBA at DAV College Chandigarh might be rather difficult, but it shouldn't be too demanding either. In its planning, implementation and delivery, the programme is aimed at preparing students with managerial skills through a combination of teaching content and experience. The subject matter teaches all aspects of business such as finance and accounting, marketing, human resource management, and business management. The college, therefore, interviews students based on their performance and entrance assessment tests which they must pass and these necessitate the acquisition of sound business knowledge.

DAV College Chandigarh is not even ranked in any of the national level ranking like NIRF or Outlook because it is primarily known for its regional importance and courses in different disciplines. It's one with a serious reputation for its undergraduate and post graduate programs especially arts, Science and commerce with a emphasis on the academic part as well as the character shaping of the students. Though it cannot be said to be among the top rankers nation-wise, it may be a well-known college in Chandigarh area providing for strength and moral support

Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University and Desh Bhagat University provide competitive placement opportunities, though the statistics are quite different. SGGSWU claimed a placement rate of about 79% for its MBA graduates with top recruiters including Cadbury and Nestle. In contrast, DBU has a more vibrant placement cell, thereby achieving almost 94 percent placements in various programs with HDFC Bank and Infosys recruiting. Because SGGSWU brings an excellent reputation, better placement rates and stronger industry networks at DBU can present DBU as an easy choice for students looking to attend.
