University Business School or shortly known as UBS, Chandigarh maintains a good placement record every year. The institute has concluded the 2023 placement drive. The highest salary increased by 10.22% & stood at INR 58.48 LPA. Students received an average salary of INR 13.72 LPA which increased by 35.2% as compared to the previous year. Out of 115 participating students, 105 were placed. The placement drive saw a participation of more than 55 recruiters. The cutoff trend for medical Courses at Dr Yashwant Singh Parmar Government Medical College Nahan has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for medical courses. under general category for all India quota was 34084. In 2022, it decreased to 14401. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 36870 to 14754 for OBC, 139007 to 87070 for SC, 35054 to 9577 for EWS, 272633 to 516909 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for medical education in India continues to grow.
