In order to get admission in BCA in most of the colleges/universities, the student should have scored a minimum aggregate of 45% or 50% marks (whichever is specified by the college or university) in 12th class.

For all purposes, both the degrees are same. You can go for a job with this qualification or You can go for higher studies with this course. Even government jobs also, there is no difference. Hope it helps.
