The quality of food served in the mess of SRM Madurai College for Engineering and Technology received mixed feedback from students. This is because it offered a variety; both South and North Indian dishes were there, so were snacks and meals based on different tastes. However, the overall quality of the food could be improved upon.The mess is run on a self-service principle, and students can draw as much food as required, though there are norms against waste.
