A total of 1590 seats are available for BTech programmes at HITS Chennai. The seat intake varies for each of the course specialisation. Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science has the highest seat intake for CSE course - 480, followed by aerospace engineering and aeronautical engineering with 180 seats. Yes, internship is part of the course curriculum. Candidates have to undergo in internship in the third or last semester of the course. It is included in the curriculum to ensure students get hands-on experience of the work in the job field. The students have to do an internship and submit the project file at the university.
