Admissions to PSN College of Engineering and Technology are relatively competitive, according to course and the quota in which one is admitted. Admission for government quota takes place based on TNEA counseling, where candidates are selected according to marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Popular branches like Computer Science and Electronics may face more competition. It is usually the students who have done well in the qualifying exams with a decent merit rank who get through. The management quota is less competitive, but then fees are steeper here as well.
