 MCom at Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute is two years long.  The curriculum is divided into four semesters to provide systematic learning to the candidates. According to the CBCS pattern, this course offers immense flexibility. Each semester consists of a set of commerce subjects that are appropriate for the particular specialisation offered by the insitute. The syllabus includes practical skills and theoretical knowledge. However, the syllabus is different for each specialisation and offers students academic diversity as per the individual's interests and career goals.

But management quota fees are higher than those of the government quota. PERI IT is the only engineering college in India with 100% A/C classrooms and buses. No, candidates can not get admission to Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute for MCom after completing Class 12. As per the eligibility criteria, students must have completed their three-year bachelor's degree from any recognised university with a valid aggregate in a relevant stream. Hence, to be considered for the programme, they must meet the preset eligibility criteria. The selection is based on the candidates' academic performance in the last qualifying exam.
