The AP Moller- Maersk- AMET Centre of Excellence is the prime facility designed to cater to the skill development and training needs of the cadets. The MoU signed with AP Moller-Maersk agreed to provide placement opportunities to the Deck and Engine Cadets from AMET Chennai only. Similarly, partnerships with V. Group and Wallem Ship Management facilitate exclusive recruitments for the cadets of AMET Chennai. The partnerships and collaborations also bring resources for AMET Chennai to provide training and learning experiences for the freshers further on.

Before Commencement of Program: Application for withdrawal from the programis to be sent to the Admission Office.After Commencement of Program: Application for withdrawal from the programis to be submitted to the Registrar through the respective department. The application willbe processed within 15 days. There shall not be any fee at the time of submittingapplication. A candidate who wishes to withdraw from the Institute after enrolling in the program must obtain a 'No Dues' Certificate from their respective school of study at VISTAS in order to retrieve their certificates.This should be accompanied by the application for withdrawal duly signed by the Parent/Guardian and the original fee receipt and provisional admissionletter ( e-mail request will not be considered ).The certificates will be issued only on production of the 'No-Dues' Certificate in the prescribedform, obtained from the Admissions Office.

Candidates wan to cancel their admission are eligible for refund of academic fee. The refund will be made as per the norms of UGC. The university doen't refund the admission and registration fee. Request for cancellation of admission and refund of fees may be considered in accordance with the following norms:If a candidates applies for cancellation prior to the commencement of classes, then, thetuition fee will be refunded. Registration and admission fees are not refundable.If a candidates discontinues in the middle of a course, he / she shall be required to paythe tuition fee for the remaining period of the programme.The management may sympathetically consider the application to discontinue andon their discretion may order for the payment of tuition fee for the semester duringwhich the student has last attended and permit to issue to TC.
