TNOU does not refunds programme fee once paid by the candidates. However, if on scrutiny, the applicant is found ineligible for admission to his or her programme of choice, an amount of INR 500 is with held by the university as processing fee. The balance amount of the fee already paid to the university is refunded to the applicant in such case.

Aspirants must hold the documents such as marksheets, certificates, etc. proving their claim for verification at the time of admission.
