To know which is a better choice, students must weigh both options based on important factors such as fees and median package. As per official sources, the fees to pursue MS at LMNIIT and IIT Madras is INR 3.9 Lacs and INR 10,000, respectively. In terms of fees, IIT Madras is a better choice. Moreover, as per placement data available on Shiksha, median packages offered to MS students at LMNIIT and IIT Madras are INR 12.50 LPA and INR 23.38 LPA. This means candidates can break out the total fee into two instalments and can pay the first instalment for semesters one and two and another instalment for the third and fourth semesters.
