NIT Raipur has an intake of 110 students for its MCA courses. According to the seat resevration policy followed by the institute, certain seats are reserved for SC, ST, EWS and OBC-NCL categories. Currently, NIT Raipur has not released the accurate commencement date of the MCA new session (2025). However, according to the information available on the official website of the university, the MCA classes for the previous batch (2024) commenced in the month of August. Hence, it is expected that in 2025, classes may start on the same dates as the previous batch.

To get admission into MCA courses at NIT Raipur, candidates are required to complete certain eligibility criteria, from which the first one is candidates must complete their Bachelors or equivalent degree from a recognised university/ Institute with a minimum aggregate of 60% (of all the years) or an equivalent CGPA of 6.5/10. In the case of SC/ ST candidates, 55% aggregate marks (of all the years) or an equivalent CGPA of 6.0/10. Moreover, the selection process is based on candidates' scores acheived in NIMCET.

The tuition fees for M.Tech courses at NIT Raipur ranges from INR 1.4 Lacs - INR 2.1 lakh, and the tuition fees for M.Tech at NIT Jamshedpur ranges from INR 1.4 Lacs to INR 1.94 lakh. No, NIT Raipur does not offer any home state quota reservation for MSc students. The admission to the MSc course is completely done by IIT JAM and CCMN counselling scores/ ranks. Additionally, the institute only offers seat reservations for reserved categories as per the reservation policies of the Government of India. Hence, there is no separate quota for home-state candidates in this process. Seat Availability: It also depends on the seat availability in the specific MSc specialisation for which a candidate has applied.
