HICAS BA seat allotment is based on marks secured by candidates in the Class 12 examination. Admission is purely based on merit, subject to the rules of reservation of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Hindusthan College of Arts and Science BA seat reservation is as follows: 50% seats will be filled as per the reservation policy stipulated by the regulatory bodies 50% seats will be filled through Management Quota

Hindusthan College of Arts and Science BA seat intake is 60 for the English Literature specialisation. The seat allotment is based on marks obtained by candidates in the qualifying examination. However, the college follows a seat reservation policy of the Government of Tamil Nadu. 50% of the seats are to be filled as per the reservation policy stipulated by the regulatory bodies and remaining 50% seats are to be filled through Management Quota.
