PCET has a satisfactory placement record. The Placement Cell has been working satisfactorily for the placements of the students in a variety of industries. Some of the reputed industries that come for campus recruitment are: IT, manufacturing, and engineering. Average packages of B.E. / B.Tech are ranging between INR 3 LPA and INR 5 LPA and some top performers have had higher packages. Yes, you can take direct admission to the B.E. / B.Tech course at Park College of Engineering and Technology (PCET) without participating in TNEA counseling. Eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by the candidates to gain admission in PCET at undergraduate or postgraduate courses. Candidates should have an overall aggregate of 50 percent of marks at higher secondary or 10+2 in the stream of physics, chemistry, and mathematics while holding a 45% for the reserved categories at B.E./B.Tech courses. Admission is usually through TNEA counseling or entrance based on JEE scores. For PG courses in M.Tech, the degree sought should be an under-graduate degree with more than 50% percentage marks, and qualification is under TANCET or GATE.
