Bharathiar University admission to the PG course is through the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET). This state-level entrance exam is conducted by Anna University. Eligible students who submitted application on time are further shortlisted based on scores in TANCET. These selected students further are required to go through the centralised counselling conducted by the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore.

Nehru Arts and Science College is accredited with A  by NACC accreditation.As of nirf 2023 rank band of Nehru Arts and Science College is about 150-200.And the college is NAAC Approved Mentor Institution. 

Nehru Arts and Science College admission basic eligibility is-10+2 passing certificate is required for entry into UG programs.Although, Admission to all courses is based on merit in the qualifying test,There is no entrance or admissions baced on the TANCET exam. As other colleges were accepting it for admissions.

The college claims to have 80% placement rate. The highest salary of 18,000 per month, the lowest at 10,000 per month, and an average package of 12,000 per month. HCL, TCS, AGS, AGEIS, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra were top recruiters. Overall, the college is not very good in terms of placement.

Wipro, Accenture, TCS, Focus, KGIS and more are the top recruiters of the college. The majority of the students got placed in these companies. Almost 100% of students received internships. Separate placement sessions are provided by the college to help students get jobs. The average package offered is between INR 2.52 LPA and INR 2.8 LPA.
