Students are helped through various skill development programmes at the college. Some of the major recruiters to provide offers to the students during the placement drive were TCS, HCL, KG Invicta Dervices, HRH Non-Voice, Karur Vyasya Bank, etc.

In order to get seat in the Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology candidates must first get admission at the college. To get admission they must follow the Hindustan College's admission procedure, which includes online registration, an online application form, selection process, counselling process, and finally seats allottment.
