The eligibility criteria for the MDes course at DJ Academy of Design is that the candidate should have passed the undergraduate programme and have cleared the DJAD Entrance Exam for Design (DEED). Further, the admission process is followed by the Personal Interview conducted by DJAD, Coimbatore. During the entrance exam and Personal Interview, the design aptitude of applicants will be evaluated along with their skills in Sketching, Visualisation, Creativity, and Sense of understanding & solving problems.

The eligibility criteria for the BDes course at DJ Academy of Design is that the candidate should have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Moreover, candidates' age should not exceed 22 years as of Jul 31. The admission is done based on the performance in the DJAD Entrance Exam on Design (DEED) and in the Personal Interview conducted by DJAD Coimbatore.
