SNU Noida admissions are either entrance or merit-based. Candidates have to qualify the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for any of the courses. For UG courses, candidates must pass Class 12 and have appeared for SAT or JEE Main in case of UG courses. SNU Noida admission to PG courses like MBA, MSc, etc. is based on entrance exams like NMAT, GMAT, XAT, university admission test, etc. for specific courses. Along with entrance-exam, aspirants must also complete graduation to apply for PG courses.

SNU Noida accepts national-level entrance exams like UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ GATE/ JEST for providing admission to various PhD course. Aspirants who have not appeared for any of the accepted entrance exam can apply for PhD entrance test conducted by Shiv Nadar University. The shortlisted aspirants are further called for an interview round. SNU admission to PhD Management course is based on application followed by a personal interview round. The university might also consider Management entrance exam for providing admission to PhD in Management.
