As both Shiv Nadar and SASTRA are good for pursuing B.Tech. But, I reccomend you to go for SASTRA University. There are lots of streams available for you like B.Tech in CSE, IT, ME, civil engineering, chemical engineering, Biomedical engineering, Biotechnology, Food technology, Electrical engineering, EEE, Electronics, Automobile engineering and others. The most important thing which rely totally on your area of your interest. Yes it is hard to get in for MFA programme in Shiv Nadar University as the eligibility for this course is -
Eligibility- Graduation
And, candidates who have completed their Diploma from a recognised college or university can also apply for the same.

Hi Ujjwal,
I am not so aware about SSE but Shiv Nadar University's Economics department has one of the best faculty members. They are quite approachable and versatile with their research interests. They motivate you to pursue research through the OUR (Opportunities in Undergraduate Research) programme. I believe what gives SNU an edge over SSE is the number of options to explore. Not only the School of Management, Performing Arts and Humanities but an "economist" has the option to explore in the School of Engineering and School of Natural Sciences. Hello dear, As an SNU alumni, I can only comment about SNU. SNU has international collaboration with top universities such as Carnegie Melon, Duke and Babson College. I believe there exists an undergrad programme in Mechanical and Computer Science engineering, where you spend two years in SNU and two years in CMU, eventually getting a degree from both universities. Also, every year two to three students get selected and participate in an exchange programme with Duke and spend a semester in Duke, China. Placements are like any other established pvt. University. Currently, Shiv Nadar University does't offer any Journalism mass communication courses but Galgotias University does. Galgotias University offers M.A. In Journalism & Mass Communication (Academic association with ISOMES & Jagran Institute of Management & Mass Communication) and the eligibility is 50% marks in graduation.
