Yes, IIIT Delhi is ranked by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). In 2024, the institute is ranked #85 in the "Engineering" category. Its ranking shows a declining trend for the past three years. The institute was ranked by NIRF #75 in 2023 and #69 in 2022. IIIT Delhi BTech admission cycle shall commence with the release of JEE applications. Its application form is generally carried out from Oct to Nov. The first session of the entrance exam is further scheduled to be held from Jan 22 - Jan 31, 2025. Moreover, the applications for admission based on merit or UCEED rank shall be available on the website. Candidates must know JAC counselling dates as well.

The institute may follow the reservation policy as prescribed by the state or central government. IIIT Delhi BTech seat allotment is carried out through JAC counselling. Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIITD) may not offer direct admission to its BTech courses. The admission is primarily entrance-based. IIIT Delhi BTech admission is done on the basis of applicants JEE Main score followed by JAC Delhi counselling for seat allotment. Additionally, the students from Delhi can apply for the BTech CSD counse with a valid UCEED rank. The institute also admit non-science Delhi students to BTech CSSS course based on performance in Class 12 and without a exam score. Before applying, aspirants should check out the course-specific eligibility requirements.
