Yes, aspirants of BTech courses can consider joining BIT Sindri. The institute is ranked #207 in the NIRF rankings 2024. It is the #5th best among NIRF-ranked colleges in Jharkhand. As per the last available report, the highest and average package offered during the placements was INR 16.5 LPA and INR 7.57 LPA, respectively. Some of the companies that participate in BIT Sindri placements are Capgemini, JSW Steel, etc.

BIT Sindri BTech fee varies for the regular and lateral entry courses. The total tuition fee for the BTech (lateral) is INR 87,040. Moreover, the tuition fee for other BTech courses is INR 16,900. There are multiple components included in the course fee structure. It must be noted that the mentioned fee is as per the official website/sanctioning body. Yes, BIT Sindri offer seat reservation in the BTech course to some of the category candidates. In order to avail a reserved seat, candidates have to submit a valid caste certificate or EWS certificate. The claims of reservation may be refunded if the submitted certificate is not valid or in proper format. Moreover, there are a total of 968 seats for BTech and BTech (lateral) at the institute. This seat count is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative. Also, the mentioned reservation details are as per multiple unofficial sources and hence, is indicative.
