Admission to BTech course is based on WBJEE or JEE Main score. Students with Higher Secondary (Science) or equivalent examination and have qualified Joint Entrance Examination (Main) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education or the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board for admission to Engineering, Pharmacy & Technological Degree Colleges as recommended by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.

The total fee for BTech ranges between INR 3.52 Lacs and INR 3.85 lakh. The fee includes academic and non-academic fee.  Aspirants are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled.

The total tuition fee for NIT Durgapur MTech ranges between INR 1.4 lakh and INR 6.3 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. MTech fee includes multiple components such as tuition fee, exam fee, caution deposit, etc. Candidates are required to pay the programme fee to confirm their seat in the institute. For NIT Durgapur M.Tech admission, candidates must apply for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. GATE is an online national-level examination conducted for Master of Engineering (ME), Masters in Technology (MTech) and direct PhD admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs and other institutes/universities across India. The exam is scheduled between February 4 and 12.
