The University of Helsinki offers generous scholarship for all their international students. These scholarships are awarded for two years and cover wither 50% or 100% tuition fees of fee paying overseas candidates. For all scholarships, students are required to study full time to fulfil the requirements of the scholarship. Once a candidate has applied to the University of Helsinki within the appropriate deadlines and fulfilled all the application requirements, inlcuding relevant documents, it takes them about 10 weeks to take a decision and send out admission offers. When the admission results are published, students are informed of their personal admission results by e-mail. Candidates applying for the autumn intake receive their results no later than Mid-April.
