No wonder both of them are highly-reputed colleges, the decision is based on your interest. DAIICT provides degrees in ICT (information and communication technology) and ICT+minors in CS (computational Science). These are computer field related programs and highly beneficial for future studies, placements, research-based opportunities. If you are interested in mechanical engineering and have no interest in programming, computers what so ever, you should surely go for BITS. Yes, there is NRI Quota at DAIICT. For detailed information about the number of seats reserved and registration deadlines.

DAIICT has many admissions from all over Gujarat. There may be 30-40 students on average from Surat, Navsari.
