Goethe University is famous for various aspects some of which are given as follows:The University of Goethe holds a long heritage of being one of the top universities in Germany and the world as well since its inception in 1914.The variety of courses that the university offers exceeds 200. The University of Goethe does not charge any tuition fee for some of its courses. International students need to only pay the administration fee or semester fee.The University of Goeth has a remarkable alumni network which includes Rolf van Dick ( Social Psychologist), Paul Ehrlich ( Noble Prize Winning Physician and Scientist) among others.

TOEFL score requirements at the University of Goethe may vary from course to course. If you are looking to get into the University of Goethe for MA or MS programmes then an 85 score in TOEFL is good. However, if you are seeking admission at the University of Goethe for the MIM programme then this score might not be enough to get into the university. A minimum score of 93 is required if you are seeking admission at the University of Goethe for the MIM program.

At Goethe University, international students, including Indian students can get a scholarship of 500 euros per month for up to 6 months. To apply, Indian students must be working on their final exams or thesis, and they need written confirmation from the examination office.For the DAAD Scholarship for International Graduates,   and Undergraduates, students need to apply within 15 months of arriving in Germany. Indian students looking to apply for scholarship can also apply through the German embassy in their home country.

Certainly, an average Indian student can get into the prestigious Goethe University, however, he or she has to make sure to satisfy the course-specific eligibility criteria and admission requirements. Goethe University has an acceptance rate which is nearly 50%, and it offers admission to students on an admission requirements basis rather than on a competitive basis. An Indian student who is seeking admission at Goethe University is required to show valid English Language Proficiency test scores as well as German language proficiency test scores along with satisfying other eligibility criteria for their desired course.

International students, including Indian students who are studying at the University of Goethe, are allowed to get into part-time jobs as per the university guidelines only. Indian students at the University of Goethe find part-time jobs mostly as English language tutors, support staff at a cafe or restaurant, and production assistants in an industry among others. Please note that international students studying at the University of Goethe are only allowed to work for 120 full days or 240 half days in an year.
