The University of Cologne does not impose tuition fees for its programmes. All students must, however, pay a social contribution fee, which amounts to around €250 each semester or €500 annually. Other student services and local transit costs are covered by this charge. A student's annual living expenses in Cologne come to about €9,500. The admission requirements at the University of Cologne are as follows:A bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or above (on a 4.0 scale).Language proficiency in English or German, depending on the program.Authenticated documents such as a bachelor's degree certificate, transcript of records, and language proficiency certificates. Completion of the TestAS qualifying examination for some programs.For undergraduate programs, German language proficiency of at least DSH Level-2 is required.

The general requirements for studying M.A. at the University of Cologne are as follows:A bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or above (on a 4.0 scale) At least 48 ECTS must be specific to the field of business administration/management studies, at least 16 ECTS must be specific to the field of economics, and at least 10 ECTS in statistics/mathematics (only methodological expertise, no user expertise) for the MSc International Management programLanguage proficiency in English or German, depending on the programme (TOEFL iBT,  IELTS,  PTE, etc.)
