Approximately 15% of the students at the University of Mannheim are international. To study a bachelor's, master's, or PhD at the university, every fifth student at the university comes from abroad. The University of Mannheim gives foreign degree-seeking students extensive help in getting ready for their transfer into the workforce as part of the STEP by STEP programme.For international students, the DAAD scholarship, which is given with €1,000, qualifies as a unique honour.

Yes, there are various scholarships offered to international students by the university. Some of the scholarships include- Mannheim Scholarship, Bronnbach Scholarship,  Deutschland Scholarship. Along with 12 scholarships for international students, there are several more scholarships, including the DAAD Graduation Scholarship, Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung, Spitzensport-Stipendium, and Opportunity Mannheim Scholarship.

The University of Mannheim does not require Indian students to submit SAT scores for admission. The basic criteria for admission in the university is that students must obtain at least 60 ECTS credits (or equivalent) in the courses linked to Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, and other Introductory Modules. The requirements may vary for different courses. The University of Mannheim also requires Indian students to submit an APS certificate for the application.

For these courses- Master of Laws (LL.M.), Bsc in Business Informatics, Bachelors in Economics, Master of Science in Business Informatics, Master of Science in Economics, Bachelor in Business Administration, the first year tuition fees is INR 2.7 lakhs. For Master of Comparative Business Law (M.C.B.L.), the first year tuition fees is INR 7.7 lakhs. International students who do not come from a country within the EU or the EEA must pay tuition fees totaling EUR 1,500 per semester.
