The cost of studying at the University of Stuttgart can vary depending on several factors such as your nationality, the degree programme a student chooses, and their personal expenses. Public universities in Germany, including the University of Stuttgart, do not charge tuition fees for undergraduate programs, regardless of your nationality. However, starting from the winter semester of 2018, the state of Baden-Württemberg has introduced tuition fees for non-EU and non-EEA international students pursuing a bachelor's or consecutive master's degree. The tuition fee for non-EU and non-EEA students is €1,500 per semester. Doctoral programs are exempt from tuition fees, and some master's programs may also be exempt or have lower fees.
