The University of Passau does not offer any kind of accommodation or housing on campus. International students are supposed to find a place to stay all by themselves. There are many options for international students to stay off campus such as; shared residences, apartments, and dormitories. Generally, universities in Germany do not offer on campus accommodations for students including international students except in some extraordinary cases.

International students are required to apply through the uni-assists for courses at the University of Passau. International students are required to pay an handling fees for applying through the uni-assist. At the University of Gottingen, for long-term students in general academic programs, the average tuition fee is around 500€ (45,000 INR).
